Rainy Day Woman--I had similar problems, along with some others with Zone Alarm Pro. I decided to uninstall the Pro version and reload the regular. But when I hit uninstall I got a popup asking if I wanted to just uninstall Zone Alarm Pro and keep the regular version. A quick yes and things were back to normal. You might try that.
