"Andy, you attack Kerry a lot. why don't you try to give any of us some positive reasons to vote for Bush? Persuade us."

My answer caused CHINUSFO to exercise his powers of execution by kicking me off the Kerry Thread. :

One of the posters on that thread had asked me the question: Why do I support Bush?

My answer was to contrast the character of Bush with that of Kerry:

GEORGE BUSH'S CHARACTER

I support George Bush because Bush operates from a centered mind-set which results in a focused vision. His actions in pursuing that vision are an outgrowth of his honesty. What he says you can believe and you can believe it because it is spoken from that inner truth that defines his character. When he commits himself to a course of action, you can know that that course proceeds from his sense of mission designed to accomplish his vision. You don't have to look for ulterior motives because there are none.

JOHN KERRY'S CHARACTER

On the other hand, Kerry operates from a mind-set that is opportunistic and egocentric. What he says has to be carefully examined by the listener in order to discern just what it is that Kerr is after. Kerry's actions proceed from his egotism and egocentricism and are therefore intentionally self-serving. Kerry's programs are to fulfill his personal need to advantage himself and to advance himself as a means of fulfilling his overweening sense of self. It is Kerry that Kerry serves. What he did in Vietnam and after Vietnam shows his careful attention to advance himself even if he has to exaggerate and distort. He did not go to Vietnam as an American patriot but as one who needed to establish a resume for future political purposes. The fact that he "filmed" his exploits after the fact for future use is a clear demonstration of this fact. Therefore, one cannot trust Kerry because Kerry's values are egocentric and egotistical. One cannot trust his actions because they are designed to serve Kerry' ulterior purposes, those being to elevate Kerry at the expense of everything and everyone else even as he uses everything and everyone to advance himself.

So, Chinusfo found his ardent support of Kerry for President under attack. He couldn't stand the heat so he decided to eliminate the flamethrower.

Since then, other posters who challenge CHINUSFO'S pretensions have also been booted.

Too Bad! Chinufso's thread has been reduced to two or three posters sitting around talking to themselves and then listening to their echos. No thought. No challenge. Just a repetition of all of the same old same old as if they need to enforce and reinforce their pretensions and prejudices.

One thing the thread cannot abide is ANY reference whatsoever to the SwiftBoat Vets. This subject drives them insane. They then rage as loudly as James Carville raged at O'Neil on the Chris Matthews ragepage, pretending to "interview" O'Neil. Then Lanny Davis, a truly brainless Clinton protege, took over and tried to undo O'Niel only to be undone himself.

I have said from the beginning that the SwiftBoat Vets story has legs. The story is just beginning to get the notice it deserves. This next week the book "UNFIT..." will be released.

From now until the Election, the SwiftBoat Vets will find themselves engaged in the most historic battle of their careers: the battle for the White House. They are determined to defend the White House from the assaults of one of the most undeserving "heroes" in Naval history who would be the country's next Commander-in-Chief.

The battle is now joined. The stakes are high. Hence the panic among the Democrats who are finally aware of the danger to Kerry's campaign and determined to eliminate the flamethrowers in order to douse the flame.
