there are plenty of tv guys, e.g., scarborough, who would be glad to put on o'neill again with an o'neill-supporting cast from the book. i just wonder why the guys who were There are not appearing with o'neill. thanks for the link to chapter 3. i had actually read that somewhere else before, and i don't understand why now rear admiral schachte is not quoted. it appears grant hibbard is relating the account. it would be very effective if schacte were to appear. i am just interested in problem solving. if the truth is to be believed by about 50% of the people, i think some eyewitnesses need to step up and appear with o'neill. better yet if about 95% of the press is going to attempt to ignore the book, eyewitnesses need to step up. (aside: until the "eyewitness" dna testing was done on monica's dress, clinton had a great, confusing, credible-deniability defense. after that eyewitness "spoke" 100% of people were convinced.)

also i read on this thread (wasn't it speculation?) about rassman's job description and what he might have been doing on the swiftboat that day. there have got to be some special forces guys who knew rassman's job, specifically knew rassman, and/or knew whether rassman was awol or not that day. if they are out there, i would like to see them step up to refute or confirm rassman's background and duties.
