Mary, are you not bothered by the lack of integrity of a man who slandered his former comrades in order to win an election? John Kerry recently admitted that his 1971 congressional testimony, in which he charged all U.S. soldiers with daily atrocities, was "over the top." How could he have such a nonchalant attitude after making false charges that resulted in mistreatment of Vietnam vets? My brother was one of them, although he was stationed in Germany at the time, upon returning home his uniform was spit on at the airport. That was a direct result of the untrue & ugly picture that Kerry painted for Congress of all U.S. military at the time. More importantly was harsher treatment of American POWs by their Vietcong captors. Many POWs said John Kerry's testimony was mentioned to them. We must ask ourselves what he is saying today that is "over the top" in order to win this election?
