Sure, it is all within the margin of error. But isn't it significant that, after spending almost $100 million dollars and holding a hollywood event known as the Democratic National Convention that the would-be president has not made a dent at all when it comes to moving the polls.


Yes, the absence of a post-convention bounce is statistically significant. But the random walk each candidate's numbers have been doing - 45 47 48 46 and back again, is not statistically significant. "Not statistically significant" means that you shouldn't pay attention to it.
