Surely, the dates of Alston's service could be denied also? I don't see how this toasts Kerry. Is it because Alston is in the current BOB campaigning for Kerry?

Ed has put together the dates of various incidents from the available record and what Scott, Alston, and Kerry have said in interviews. The date of Alston's wound and hospitalization are known. So are the dates that Scott took over from Alston, and Kerry is on record in his book, "Tour of Duty," and from interviews. Ed has constructed a timeline that shows everything does not add up to what is known. It is possible that it is wrong, but there is enough evidence to ask some hard questions. It really looks like Alston never served on Kerry's boat. And Alston is a major witness for what happened on Kerry's boat when he got his Silver Star. He made a speech about it at the convention. If he didn't serve, Kerry could not possibly say that he was not aware of it. Alston is BLACK! The only one there.

They really won't be able to get away with just denying it. They have to explain the dates. It really looks bad at the moment for Kerry.

Any lies that turn up among the Kerry 8 of this size would sink Kerry. Hugh Hewitt and Ed are buddies. Ed has been on his show several times. I just sent Hugh an Email on it, but I am sure he is already on it like "white on rice."

I am putting this together as a package this weekend and sending it to Bob Novak's staff. They are good hound dogs, and Novak has read the Swift Vet's Book and likes it.

It's unbelievable. But so was Watergate.
