My decision was reached through lengthy soul searching, where I weighed my own beliefs against those of the Democrat Members of Congress. I am a Louisiana man, with Louisiana values. My heart and my family reside in the 5th Congressional district with my constituents. I strongly believe it is in your best interests that I vote Republican. The increasingly liberal Democratic Party is no longer aligned with the needs of my district, and as such, I cannot stand with them. I hope you will continue to support me.
