<<<Every other Nam Vet earned it too. Is their free speech not as important as Kerry's?>>>

Absolutely.

I don't know you, but I know enough to know that you have served your country, done much more than your share. You have earned the right to have your views respected. Again, I don't think you have to earn it, but you certainly have.

Free sppeech is one of the things you have risked your life to help guarantee for the rest of us. We should be sincerely thankful and respect that very much.

But free speech means we can disagree. We can have different views of America and still be patriotic.

Many Vietnam Veterans disagree with John Kerry. But John Kerry also has his Vietnam veterans agree with him - including all the men that served under his command. Not only that but many distinguished veterans also agree with Kerry's views on patriotism and vision for America - including, but not limited to:

Admiral William Crowe
Admiral Stansfield Turner (also former DCIA )
General John Shalikashvili (sp?)
General Merril McPeak
General Wesley Clark
Lt Gen Claudia Kennedy

There are two sides to this story.
