Hi, O'Neil and Kerry had a tv "debate" on meet the press in 1971 where O'Neil basically accused him of what he is accusing him of now. O'Neil has been consistent all along. The change in the tenor of the debate is due to kerry's run for office and the fact that kerry has made more untrue statement in the time since. John PS. I could be wrong about it being meet the press. It could have been face the nation or another important show. Back then we only had face the nation and meet the press. John
