There's a lot more to the six-billions-strong Rest of Us than the french, Nadine .... to reduce all to a neocons-vs-the-french struggle may appeal to you, but elsewhere it's seen as absurd .... and/or amusing, for example by mexicanos, who for over 180 years have had trouble from the militarists of only two nations - USA, and France

Kerry does not appear to have the smirking arrogance of Bush, at this point anyway ... he does not seem openly hostile to the idea of cooperation between the democracies, and so is likely to get more cooperation from us .... it's the catch more flies with honey approach, as opposed to the yer with us or yer a Guinness rant
