Erik: I'm here on a wing and a prayer, and a very small pair; i.e. A tiny sum of risk capital which I'm using to attempt some home-grown learning of the pitfalls and sand traps of self- directed investment. Given that situation, buying round lots and multiples thereof is confined to issues whose prices are, let's say, 'altitude-challenged.' I don't think think I could learn to participate in any risk related activity while betting matchsticks, (their loss does not hurt enough, their gain, elate) but the term 'margin- buying' is one from which I recoil immediately. There's a place where I could lose the ranch! I'll be stickin' with ANAD for some time, communications is here to stay. LU, I'll have to either buy during a large setback, (a 'dip' won't do it), or get aboard a DRIP program. Thanks for your comments! Lee
