Three reasons why Bush loses the election this fall: 1.) The economy is faltering, job growth is slowing (probably the single most important issue). 2.) Oil prices and eventually gasoline prices are rising (an issue that hits the pocketbooks of consumers, and is a sensitive issue for Americans). 3.) The war in Iraq is starting to spin out of control (the Iraq war has been kind of put on the back burner by other issues like the hurricane, Gov. McGreevey, the Presidential election, but anyone following things going on in Iraq sees a rather dire situation developing. The interim government doesn't control the country, the U.S. is fighting an uprising amongst Shittes that has broad appeal. The situation is basically out of control and Iraq will most likely fall into civil war with the U.S. unable to keep the factions from fighting, it all makes Bush's war effort look rather poorly thought out.)
