I don't know? I know our sanctions were killing a lot of Iraqis from 1991 to 2003, and we've killed over 10,000 Iraqis since the war began. Everyday you read about Iraqi civillian causualties. The Iraqi civillians are unfortunately caught in the middle of big oil/money politics. It's a no win situation for them. They don't benefit from the oil in their country, yet they have a lot of foreigners who have supported the brutal dictatorship of Saddam (including the U.S. and Britian) and they have years and years of wars with neighboring countries and with outside powers like the U.S. and Britian. Big oil and the wealthy elites win, the poor Iraqis lose. Such is life!
