Any of these small terrorist groups in comparison to Iraq's total population who think they can cause a civil war or take down the Govt is gravely mistaken. Al Sadr's nutso shiite militia is close to extinction. Real shiites follow Sistani, not Al Sadr. The terrorists are the equivalent of the SS Werewolves who plagued occupation troops for 3 years following the defeat of the Third Reich. The SS used a tremendous number of bomb attacks on Allied forces and killed thousands. The SS by 1948 didn't win either.
