A couple of presentations by Sandisk on the benefits of Transflash.

Unfortunately, I think that over the next year or so that Sandisk might actually benefit more from the adoption of miniSD or RS-MMC than Transflash. The problem is that densities arent nearly enough for MP3 player equipped handsets. The roadmap on the last page of the second link shows that 512MB modules wont be available until the second half of '05 and 1GB until the middle of '06. I can absolutely guarantee that consumers are looking for those card sizes right now.

OTOH, the card sizes probably track pretty well with progress in camera phone resolutions....
