Yes, I have a broker's license. What that says about my --or my generation's --responsibilities to my elderly father, my kids, and other aspects of my life--is something you have somehow translated into a speech about the real estate market. OK......whatever.

I'm talking a socio-economic thing here, which some thoughtful people in other places have already examined.....that boomers are a new type of "sandwich generation"--trying to care for both the old and the young, while the boomers get caught in the middle. I do believe this has implications for the housing market in some as-yet unidentified ways, but I'm not betting any money on it.
