While I have no doubt that Kerry is a better debater than Bush, these Presidential debates are usually pretty tame formats. Bush may only agree to a format where both candidates answer questions from a panel or moderator. Kerry might not be able to question Bush, or vice-versa. In past debates of this type, Bush has prepared well enough to exceed the very low expectations of his performance. I wouldn't count on the debates sealing the deal. The Bushies won't aqree to a format that reveals their man can't think on his feet. I expect him to deliver his canned responses with apparent conviction.
