I am taking the liberty of posting my Private Message to your friend, SiouxPal on the Kerry thread since I cannot post on that thread. SiouxPal attacked me on that thread, knowing that I could not post a reply. His original post attacking my honesty will follow.

I am having to respond to your unfortunate charge as a private message since I am banned from the thread where you attacked my veracity.

Please check with your friends who read all of my posts.

I stated that I volunteered for enlistment in the US Army March, 1947. The official end to WWII had not yet been declared. The Army needed recruits so that soldiers returning from the front could be released earlier.

As soon as I reached the age of 17, required of a volunteer with parental permission, I volunteered and was inducted into the US Army. This made me automatically a Veteran of WWII. That fact is recorded on my honorable discharge after my enlistment expired.

As a bona fide Veteran of WWII, I was exempt from the draft instituted during the Korean War.

I cannot believe that you are so unfair and unprincipled as to label one a liar without bothering to check the facts before hand.

You will also discover that I posted the above information of the legitimate threads long before you called my honesty into question.

If you are fairminded at all and interested in the Truth, you will post this private message on your thread in order to inform your friends on that thread of the truth since it is on that thread that you challenged my honesty.

Even though this is a private message, I will post it on the other threads where I post, together with you original charge, so that everyone will know how upright and honest you are.
