Please.... My position has nothing to do with taking away anyone's rights or with political correctness. You are the one here who keeps hiding behind law - like a filthy immoral scoundrel. I am talking about the values of decency and courtesy most Americans were taught a generation ago and that you leftists have now discarded as if they were trash. It is just leftism you are proposing here, where it is perfectly fine for Ronstadt to advertise a musical concert, have people respond to her ads by paying $100 each for tickets, and then when they arrive consume time by pushing a political campaign. You are actually promoting the forced financial support of a political campaign. You are no Libertarian. You are a leftist of the worst kind. "Free-speech" is not the issue here. That is a technical, legal idea that has to do with our relationship with the government. It simply does not apply as you are using and abusing it. You leftists consistently abuse the term. The fact is, you do not have freedom of speech such that you can take advantage of people as you are advocating. You, for example, do not have freedom of speech here on SI - and can be legitimately banned for your speech, depending upon the whim of this venue's proprietors. So you really ought to stop acting like such a disgusting moron and admit the truth of your own filth. This Ronstadt issue would be a matter of free-speech had she not advertised her wares and then switched them on her customers, taking their money. Once she took their money she owed them. No code of courtesy or decency permits her to do what she did. It is precisely your sort of sick leftism that is responsible for fracturing our society. It is impossible to develop societal cohesion with a group of people whose basic social philosophy makes it a virtue to take advantage of others.
