This is classic Pilch.

Politics and social commentary have always been entwined with art and music: Pete Seger, Bob Dylan, John Lennon, etc.

If you don't care for the politics of a performer and are concerned they may espouse them during their performance, don't go. It's called free enterprise: Don't go to the concert, don't buy the record, turn the station when they come on.

But mainly, stop being such a baby.

What if you bought a ticket wanting to hear the old hits and the artist does all new material? Or what if you wanted to hear the new stuff and they did only the old hits?

What if you expect the artist to face the audience and he plays with his back to the crowd? What if you expect 90 minutes of music and you only get 45?

The artist is the artist. They are responsible for the content of the performance. You are responsible for whether or not you go.
