I think you are reaching here JP. The defining aspect of her "brand" is most certainly her music, not her "non-controversial" nature. While I would definitely call it a stupid career move, I don't see this as immoral.

If you want to argue that someone was morally wronged in this particular case, you would have to argue that it was the venue, not the fans (if you believe that she could have anticipated the negative reaction of the crowd). However, as this is really a business issue, it would be a matter of what was agreed to in the contract and what the expectations were.
