But what if you were a singer song writer whose songs were often filled with social and political commentary? This after all is a huge part of tradition and what we expect from popular music in the U.S.

It seems to me that a lot of music is intertwined with politics and other social issues so it's silly to expect a concert to be bereft of such things, especially a rock concert from a well known lefty like Linda Ronstadt.
