Well said, JP....To rashly insult these people by launching into a promotion of George Bush or to speak against Israel - well - it would be an insult to me, to us in that auditorium - to the purpose behind the little community we have formed there at that time. It would be indecent. I could really identify with the feelings the audience had when Linda started her political harangue.... We were at a special function last week with about 250 people. One of the speakers was a retired Seattle muni judge....who started to hype Kerry....there wasn't much clapping in this particular audience (a BIG surprise for Seattle)... but rather a twisting in the chairs and general restlessness in the captive audience. FINALLY he sat down, and the Hostess of the event praised "Her President Bush" and then the event continued. Luckily, we didn't have to pay for the tickets.....
