Bush was a National Guard pilot....who could have been called, much as the National Guard has been called up today. This is not about Bush. Kerry made it his figurehead persona. There are many things that I think you will find after you do some reading on the various SBVFT statements that you have incorrect. You may not wish to check them out. One thing you will find when you read about some of the events that some of the men worked right side by side to Kerry and his boat...The boats were yards apart and traveled in packs like wolves...the boats were fairly small as you can see when you look them up. 6 people in one isn't a lot of people. There are commanding officers in the group....Kerry's commanding officers. You can't give credence to one (or 8) of the Vets for Kerry, and not give credence to the 250+ other Vets who think he is Unfit for Command. Certainly NOT if you don't read their book.... I can honor what service he gave, and do .... I certainly do question his comments over the years on the Cambodia Dec 24, 1968 events. Nixon wasn't President when Kerry made those remarks, and yet Kerry said Nixon's words were SEARED in his mind.... hummmmmmmmm
