I'm glad he called his wife. Did he call anyone in government? If he did, he would have known the two tower planes came from Boston (authorities knew that from the start). I don't like to second guess, but if I was the Senator from Massachusetts, that information would really get my attention. Terrorists launched a devastating attack from my state. Are there other terrorists still in my state? Have there been any attacks in my state? What is my state doing to identify these hijackers? What is is it doing to protect the people I represent? Does my state need federal assistance? Does my state need MY assistance? I'd like to think I would have been proactive and that I would have sprung into action. But honestly? Maybe I just would have watched TV myself. That's why I don't criticize others for what they did (or didn't).
