You want to use the cops to rib your neighbors to pay your bills and are pissed it isn't already happening.

No, I want to pay my share of taxes, and I do. But how that tax money is spent is what's important. I don't believe in massive deficit spending and tax cuts. Sure I saved a couple of house payments this year in taxes, but many rich folks saved a Porche in taxes. Many many more rich folks have accountants that hide, shift and defer taxes all together, leaving the middle class as the ones that shoulder the tax burden.

The tax cuts were supposed to create jobs. But they have not. More jobs have been lost. That is a failed policy. On top of that we now go deeper in debt as deficits continue. Bush has no plan to deal with the deficits and rising debt.

In my opinion it would have been far better for the economy to invest in our country. Improving infrastructure and investing in renewable energy would be good ways to jump start the economy. Creating employment in this fashion is the best way to improve the economy, as the money spent by these new job holders will trickle up into the pockets of the wealthy folks anyway. Trickle down does not work as an economic stimulus...that's been proven now and before.

As for healthcare...which my family currently doesn't have...I think that we could redirect monies already being spent by the government...more like wasted...and by pooling the entire country together, that we can be more efficient in the costs and delivery of healthcare.
