Why is Kerry running on his Vietnam service? This has got to be one of the biggest political blunders of all time, especially given all the sources of documentation for fact checkers to look in every nook and cranny and under every single stone. No stone will be left unturned. I can't believe Kerry didn't have a single doubt about this. And there was no real good reason to go back and harp on Vietnam service because quite frankly if being a Navy Ensign or Ltjg is all the qualifications you need to be President, then the standards for Presidents must be pretty low. Being a low ranking officer is many steps removed from the decisions a commander in chief makes as to be silly for one to compare the two jobs at all.
