Jay, US not happy with the violence in Iraq. Sees Iran as fanning the flames and want to quiet Iran down. Iran, whose income in oil goes up as oil prices increases, is happy with both:

Making the Us suffer and earning more money with high oil prices.

Israel would love to go there and bomn any facility

India, which needs that close source of energy may not like to see the US do a Iraq with Iran.

This thing is going to take long to be solved.
