So sorry for continuing this OT--I just feel it will help others to make it public but I will not make anymore public posts on this matter. But I know this post will help change a few people's lives, I just bet it will. E...I know so much about this disease, it will come out in the coming years, but I won't go into it all here. I did take antibiotics right away (not sure why you think I didn't)--and took another course later in the summer. Most of the medical profession doesn't get it yet. I've done my best in notifying you. BTW Lyme doesn't always and initially manifest as "an awful illness" that's the whole point. It took me a few years of really researching this and experiencing it and talkign to clinicians and patients in the field to conclude what I have concluded. I'm not "well"--I have a hyperbaric chamber in my home! I did what I had to do. I'm functioning but not nearly at the level I used to. However life is what you make it and I like my life and my work is going fantastically well.
