The attacking of the Swiftboat exposures at the margins by the Democrats only guarantees that the story will not fade, and will dominate more of the "establishment" media's space. This error by the Kerry campaign has a high probability of causing the Democrat party that meltdown that can only be countered with EITHER a Torricelli Maneuver, or the taking a landslide defeat and attempting to rebuild.

The contemporary Democrat party has shown no tendency to accept that age-old party cure of reasserting control from extremists by way of massive defeat. That method of recovery has allowed the two parties to survive for well over 150 years, and its abandonment would result in new era of political instability.

Perhaps it is that instability that is needed to destroy the internal enemy that has replaced the former LOYAL opposition over the last 30 years-and which is represented today by John Kerry and his henchmen. I am still hoping we don't have to find out...
