This is my imaginary conversation between Karl Rove and George W. Bush. KR- “ Mister President... we have a problem”. GWB- “What’s wrong now? Have I got a pretzel stuck in my teeth?” KR- “No Mister President, we have to contend with Kerry’s war record where he was a hero, and... you know.... your record sir.” GWB- “What’s “contend” mean?” KR- “Well Mister President..... GWB- “C’mon Karl call me Georgie or Jorge.. get it.... a spanish thing. (He he he he.)” KR- Yes Jorge.... well... “contend” means you have to answer for your.... military record sir, where some of your time was... well.... kinda...AWOL sir.” GWB- “Oh..... that. Karl dammit that’s why I hired you and Dick! You’re on the clock Karl! Do your damn job you idiot!” KR- “Yes sir Mister President, we’ll come up with something......... hey! How about we’ll attack Kerry for being in the service somehow?” GWB- “ You lamebrain, (takes a slug out of his bottle of vodka) he’s a friggin’ hero. How can you pull that off?
