Modern Talmudic Israel is controlled by Orthodox Jews. Orthodox rabbis are the final and ultimate authority in courts of law. The fact that almost 50% of Jews are secularist does not detract from this fact. The majority of secular Jews in Israel are now supporting the fanatic Orthodox decisions. Why are you avoiding the fact that the Babylonian Talmud is still the definitive dogmatic document that guides modern Judaism? Why? Face up to reality man and then we can have a constructive conversation. Why do you pretend that you are not an emotionally committed Zionist and supporter of Talmudic Israel? Why?
