Actually I have heard of peeing on compost piles as a way of adding nitrogen. My revulsion to letting nature take its course probably has to do, in large part, because I grew up in New Orleans, which is used as a public toilet by millions of people from all over the world. The vegetation is very healthy, the smell is unbelievable.

DC is much cleaner except for the elevators in the Metro stations. They don't have public restrooms in the Metro system, so people use the elevators.

Well, everybody else was talking about the environment, and pollution, isn't human waste pollution? Doesn't it affect the environment?

But I did start with sexual politics, namely, whether European women have succeeded in forcing European men to pee like women. I can't imagine a Latino man sitting to pee. Canadian, maybe.

Maybe it's metro. In which case, I am decidedly retro.
