Perhaps the mainstream media regarded the "Swiftboat Vets for Truth" as more appropriate fodder for supermarket tabloids than mainstream publications?

Given the resumes of it's leaders, which we've discussed in previous posts, and the holes forming in the statements of others, first Elliot and now Thurlow, I'd say the media was correct in that assessment.

After being totally taken by Bush over Iraq they weren't about to fall for this Swift Boats whopper.

Total silence from the media.
