You want the receipts? It doesn't work that way, and you know it. The test is - who benefits? The same guy forking over the major bucks for this effort funded the smears against John McCain vs Bush and Repugnicans vs. Max Cleland. The Repugnicans seem to gravitate to smear campaigns, since there's so little else they can run on. Eventually the guy will be compensated in some way, a gov. contract, favorable legislation, ambassadorship, etc.
