Thurlow on Scarborough says when his award was written up he had no input. He didn't know about it until mos after his return when it arrived in the mail. He asked someone yesterday who wrote his award citation. Their CO Elliot wrote it. Elliott says his only input was Kerry's incident report. R.D. Lambert was the witness. Thurlow said there was no enemy fire during any of this. Only fire was from the Swiftboats at the river banks after the mine exploded. Hopefully a journalist will find Lambert, the witness.
