Thurlow was on Hardball tonight. I was stunned when Thurlow told Chris Matthews that Kerry deserved his Bronze Star! As far as that incident was concerned Thurlow just thought Kerry embellished about the enemy fire.

Of course, Thurlow's boat actually took fire:

So Thurlow's memory is wrong.

Thurlow was mostly upset about other events that he heard about 3rd hand. It seems everything is hearsay.
