TBG Paul and all GOOFIS: Over the last few years I had moved my portfolio into momentum stocks. As of May-June during the correction, most of my holdings stopped out at 20% from their tops. I now find myself 80% in cash and searching for some good core holdings that I will not have to chase around so aggressively.

Any help on this? If you could choose ANY stock from ANY sector, which ones would be your highest priority? I'd like to get a stable of maybe 10 solid growth stocks...low p.e. and fairly valued. I want to keep at least 50% in buy/hold stocks, but I don't want to overpay for them. I've been evaluating stocks based on the NAIC (National Association of Investors Corp.) SSG (Stock Selection Guide) which looks at fundamentals...anyone familiar with this method?

If you had $100,000, how would you spend it in this market? This will give me some ideas for further research. I don't want any GOOFI to get bored in this anti-GOOF environment.

I guess now I can go out and play. These last few days have loosened the screws in my forehead...at least for now. Thanks you guys...I'm off to the Sierras to beat the heat!
