Hi Al, This thread has sunk to new levels and carried many good folks down the drain with it. Focusing on kerry's military service has ended discussion of most real issues in this campaign. Do you folks really want to live in a world where UW and his band of brothers rule? Accepting all that is said by these ex military guys as the absolute truth amazes me. They have waited 30 + years to get guys like Kerry and even McCain who dont buy into their version of the holy grail--that congress spurred on by anti war kerry types lost the war, not them and their fearless leaders like Westmoreland, LBJ and Nixon. It's the blame game folks and thats all it is and kerry is target du jour. By the way the vets seem to be split pro anti kerry by which war they fought in. The vietnam vets are against him and the others sort of break by traditional party and ideology lines. My uncle fought in WW2 and is a decorated vet and he thinks the vietnam vets against kerry are stupid. He must be a commie, right? Mike
