maybe experts forget... that he was an outlaw.
not only could he not vote, he was not even
allowed to continue living in society.

he believed so fanatically in the worldview he
held that he chose to remain true to it over the
objections of the governmental powers and majority
opinions of the day... ultimately, at the cost of
his own life.

i've always admired the fact that he chose non-violence
in his martyrdom in lieu of reactionary violence.

i'm sure he'd meet with the same fate in modern
american society... so the voting question is moot
and even silly, eh?
