I don't own CHK but I have been lurking to keep track with an interest in perhaps buying on down the line. On the class action suit, unless there are unknown factors, the suit will have little merit and in any case, these suits rarely have a major impact on the company. If there is illegal activity, then that is another story. Right now, from what is known, the stock is down simply because the drilling came up short and anyone who buys an E&P company should know the risks.
