Nobody really needs the swift boat guys

Here's what everyone now knows for FACT:

Kerry only served four months of a one-year tour.
Kerry's Purple Hearts were for very superficial "wounds."
Kerry asked to go home when he had no medical reason.
Kerry lied about his Christmas in Cambodia

No fair-minded person disputes these facts. They are more than enough to make the average person question Kerry's honor and character.

If Kerry had not constantly brought up his service, no one would know these facts and no one would have questioned his honor and character. He simply would have been recognized as a hero of the Vietnam war long ago, and the election would have been fought out on other issues.

And the Swift Boat veterans would never have come forth.
