Although I voted for Bush and will do so again, I'm not one of those who believes Bush is the benevolent Father who is protecting them from terrorists.

I don't believe he has conducted this war in the way it needs to be conducted if we are to win it. I do admire the man for his convictions though. Unlike those before him who chose to turn the other cheek, the man knows the terrorists must be taken on. Convictions! When was the last time we had a leader who had convictions?

We can debate the strategy and tactics of the war all day long but in the end, something needed to be done and I give the man credit for trying.

Iraq had WMD's because we gave them to them. They weren't the reason for going to war but Bush gave that as the reason. Why? Because we have a nation of people who are too busy with life to keep up with the issues. As a leader, you give them something easy to understand in order to rally them around the flag.

Too many people whining about being lied to and not enough people looking at the substance of our actions, in my opinion.

It isn't important to me that he said we went there for the purpose of eliminating WMD's. What's important to me is if the actions were necessary. Based on my previous message to Ed, I think they were. Could the war have been handled better? Sure! D-Day could have been handled better too. Operation Market Garden shouldn't have ever been put into play and we should have seen the Battle of the Bulge coming.

I'll vote for Bush because there isn't anyone better on the other side of the aisle. Gore was so weak they wouldn't even let him run this time. People will vote for Kerry not because of his voting record, leadership or ideas for this country. They will vote for Kerry because they hate Bush.

Yee-f***king-ha! What a way to run a country.
