Ramsey, Agreed, they are different types of companies, but, that doesn't change the fact that they both have a single technology currently driving their cellular revenues. If one of either GSM or CDMA is found to cause brain cancer (or some other cataclysmic technolgical problem) tomorrow, then Qualcomm would suffer just as much as Ericsson would, probably more so.
