8/20/04 - For a while I let this board talk about anything and everything,
but it's really killing the value of the board. The more the site grows,
the more people are going to be suspended and will need to use this board.
Do me a favor and stick to Jail-type discussions regarding suspended members
and such. If you want to get into any offtopic or wild discussions,
take it to the Parking Lot [or] the appropriate offtopic board.

If Matt would consider my thoughts to seperate IH's investing boards
from non investing boards, such that they are seperated via each having
their own seperate TOU and Jailhouse board, then Matt could deal with
the investing community in a polite professional manner void of current
raw and rancid postings that has already discouraged ad subscriptions
from companies not wanting to be associated with animal or jailhouse sex.
Aligned with a seperate TOU and "The Jailhouse" board associated with
a Premium or FREE membership that only has access to investing boards,
is a "The Question and Answer Board (MATT)" that is also under a TOU
geared towards members doing investing, rather than the free-for-all
now where non investing members and boards are discussed and fill up
the Q & A board with 99% non Q & A postings, that includes raw & rancid.

alluded to, new subscriptions to a Premium Membership
has as focus the intent of the person to engage the "I" in IH or SI,
and includes access as FREE members to non investing boards only after
they themselves activate it by agreeing to a seperate TOU that warns
them of a different environment that has potential to disturb them
from an encounter with free speech taken pass the boundaries allowed
in the TOU agreed upon their membership for investing boards.
This seperation allows any company wishing to buy ad space on IH & SI
to select only the "I" side, thereby preventing any association conflict
with where posting of the raw and rancid words and images are present.
A healthy environment for SI's and IH's future growth & stability requires
that it is first and upfront where investing is conducted by members,
and non investing activities is broken off and deal with under conditions
and rules that hide the raw, and at times unsavory aspects of real life.
As the "Devil in the Details" may go, it might be feasible to restrict
the reading of non investing boards by the general public not registered
as a Premium or FREE. This presents a picture of SI and IH as a serious
investing tool worthly of one's money or ad viewing time.
At the present time SI and IH are products in the marketplace that offer
a message board for investing, political, and anything else posting.
