Kerry and his crewmates say that he was armed, and Kerry thought that he was turning to fire at the boat. What would you expect him to do; wait until the enemy had fully turned, and aimed his rocket launcher? How stupid would that have been? It's touching to see your sympathy for the Viet Cong who ambushed our Swifties.
