Unfortunately for Kerry, Kerry tells the story of how he was injured on 13 Mar 69 on page 313 of his book Tour of Duty. He says, "The South Vietnamese forces blew up some huge bins of rice they had found, as it was assumed, as always, that these were the local stockpiles earmarked to feed the hungry VC moving through the Delta smuggling weapons. I got a pice of small grenade in my ass from one of the rice-bin explosions and then we started to move back to the boats". Are we suppossed to believe that Kerry was wounded in the ass twice on the same day, from the same type of incident. How did Kerry get as ass wound on PCF-94 from a mine explosion that happened to PCF-3?
