I think one the great ironies of my time is that those who served in Vietnam have routinely been under attack by the Republican Party for the past 4 years.

The two people in my generation who have been elected to the presidency--Clinton and Shrub--both did everything in their power to avoid serving in Vietnam.

I think the Republican Party is sentencing itself to death by overplaying the "attack the Vet" card. That party of jagoffs got away with attacking McCain and Cleland. I think they've taken on the king of the hill here, though. Kerry is going to formulate a comeback that will outrove Rove.

So what exactly is your "point" and purpose over here, Nadine? Are you attempting to enlighten us regarding our inappropriate support of Kerry? If so, could you please enlighten us on why you support such a lame excuse for a President? Please focus on supporting your position ... and not on attacking our future President, John Kerry.
