All evidence contradicts the SmearVets. The only thing they have is distant memories and hearsay ... not exactly news worthy. So... the testimony of Kerry's 12 Band of Brothers is "evidence", but the testimony of 250 Swiftvets who were also there, that is not "evidence"? Say what? I hate to tell you this, but in every court in the land, including the court of public opinion, the sworn testimony of eyewitnesses is evidence. Eyewitness accounts usually differ, that's why the procedure is to listen to them all and cross-examine them.
