Michael Koss indicated to me that he felt the company was worth at least 12x to 15x earnings. Based on FY '97 EPS of $1.07, that would make them a buyer up to $15+/share. However, they won't force the price up by aggressively buying shares on the open market.

It appears for now that those who are accumulating stock are doing so very patiently. The market makers do not appear to have much in inventory because they only seem to sell right after they buy.

For example, today (8/25/97), an MM bought 200 shares at 9 1/2 at 12:10pm and sold 200 shares at 10 7/16 at 12:11pm. The same thing happened at 12:17pm with a purchase of 200 shares at 9 1/2 and a sale of 200 shares at 10 7/16 at 12:18pm.

If KOSS were able to attract some fund attention, the price could rise quickly with some aggressive purchases. IMHO.

Rick
